Subconscious Mind Secrets for Effortless and Effective Manifesting

If you’re still trying to figure out this manifesting game…Or you feel overwhelmed because you tried so many different manifestation techniques and nothing seemed to work…or you work very hard in your job or business, and things are still moving slow… it’s time to dive deep. It’s time to work with the most powerful resource available to you- your subconscious mind!

In other words, it’s time to make your subconscious mind work for you, not against you. That’s the biggest manifesting game puzzle. It’s simple but not easy because it requires some initial effort and determination (most people are unwilling to take this step).

However, if you’re one of the few who somehow realized the importance of diving deep and changing your life by changing what’s inside you- you’ve come to the right place!

Here’s the truth about manifesting that most people don’t want to hear- you don’t manifest what you want. You manifest who you are. Bestselling books and movies on the Law of Attraction, such as The Secret, did a fantastic job of empowering millions of people and making them realize that they can mindfully design their lives.

Unfortunately, their message was very simplified to reach the masses. Imagine you approach someone who never heard about self-development, LOA, spirituality, and you ask them if they want to change their subconscious mind because we manifest who we are and what we hold inside us! They would probably think you’re out of your mind.

So, the broader messaging employed in the movie and book the Secret was simpler to comprehend and could reach more people.

However there are different stages of awareness. And as we learn and grow, we discover more about ourselves. We begin to see patterns.

And we learn about the liberating truth behind the statement: “You don’t manifest what you want; you manifest who you are”. Although this truth may be hard to swallow at first, it’s very liberating and can change your life.

Especially if you’ve been trying hard to change things and nothing worked.

When I first discovered the truth about “You manifest who you are”, I kept asking myself: “So, who am I?”. At first, I decided to release any negativity or judgment about myself, and, as many Eastern philosophies advocate, I became a neutral observer of my reality.

Then, the answer to: “Who am I?” came to me.

So, who are you?

Well, you are what you hold inside you.

You are your subconscious patterns, habits, and behaviors. And you keep manifesting them all over again. But there’s a simple way out.

You can change yourself from within yourself and change your subconscious programs, amplifying your conscious manifesting abilities.

The Subconscious Mind Explained

The subconscious mind, what is it?

In psychology, the subconscious is the part of the mind that is not currently of focal awareness. For example, consciously, you may think you are working hard because you put in lots of hours in whatever you do.

What you may not realize is how you work or how you do things. For example, even though you work hard (and are consciously aware of this fact), you may subconsciously keep sabotaging yourself by saying the wrong thing in front of your client or boss.

But you are not even aware of what you’re doing wrong (this has happened to me many times, but ever since I became a student of the subconscious mind and energy, things began to change).

Another simple explanation to help you understand the power of your subconscious mind is to take a look at your skills and habits.

For example, learning a new skill, such as driving a car, is difficult at first because it requires a lot of attention to a lot of things. But, the more you practice, the easier it gets. Your subconscious mind takes over, and your driving coordination becomes almost automatic.

Now, these two words are extremely important to understanding the power of your subconscious mind: AUTOMATIC and COORDINATION.

Because successful manifesting is all about unleashing the power of automatic coordination by using your subconscious mind.

You no longer have to think hard about what to do; you just do it, and the way you do it no longer feels like hard work or effort. It feels joyful, automatic, and fun.

Now, I know that some people (myself included) may not enjoy driving. So, let’s use an example of mastering any other skill, such as a new language, playing an instrument, playing tennis, or something else.

When you keep practicing something every day and have a good system for it (and are learning from a good teacher or master), eventually, you get better at it.

And so, what used to be hard for you, becomes effortless.

This is one of the most significant pieces of successful manifestation and subconscious mind reprogramming. It can also help you transform your career, body, or finances.

It’s all about identifying one specific activity or a skill you need to master and working on it every day until it becomes a part of you and will translate to what I like to call Automatic Coordination that works in your favor and helps you manifest your desires.

This is how you use your subconscious mind to work for you. What you have learned so far in this article can seriously transform your life if you commit to diving deeper and doing something every day.

But of course, you may choose to keep reading and learn a bit more.

Still, I always like to motivate my readers to take aligned action. If you want to experience the wonders of your subconscious mind to work for you, pick one beneficial activity in alignment with your desire, and do it every day (it could be daily writing, learning a new language, going for a walk, doing yoga, EFT tapping, meditation…or any professional or self-care activity that aligns with your goals).

Do it every day, and you will be positively surprised by what you can create.

Especially if you combine your aligned actions with any Law of Attraction/Manifestation method that feels good to you (such as visualizing, scripting, or affirming).

To let you on my little manifesting “secret,” this is precisely what I do.

I take daily aligned actions both for my business and self-care, and at the same time, I visualize, script, and affirm/talk to myself about my desires, reality, and outcomes as if I already had them manifested.

On this website and in my books, I have a myriad of resources to guide you through my manifesting process, so feel free to check them out if you feel inspired to do so:

All the Law of Attraction and manifesting methods are great for reprogramming your subconscious mind and making it work for you, not against you:

My main point is- that the way I see this is that we really manifest with our subconscious minds. And it’s all about making our subconscious work for us, not against us. As Tony Robbins says:

“Do what you have always done, and you will get what you have always gotten.”

-Tony Robbins

To me, this quote is really about subconscious mind work.

If you keep working harder and harder but not getting the results, you desire and deserve, dive a bit deeper.

Is your subconscious programming really in alignment with what you want? Or perhaps it’s still some childhood or society programming that doesn’t even serve you?

If what you do feels like hard work and a lot of effort or hustle, you’re not entirely using the power of your subconscious mind. Or worse yet, it’s running on its own programs, and none of these programs aligns with your desires.

As one of my subconscious mind mentors, Robert G.Smith, the founder of the Faster EFT method, likes to put it: “The subconscious mind is an intelligent idiot.”

I think this comparison is brilliant!

Is the subconscious mind powerful?

Yes, your subconscious mind is extremely powerful. It makes up around 95% of your brainpower and takes care of everything your body needs to function correctly (breathing, digesting, making, and replaying memories).

The subconscious mind can remember everything you have ever done, said, or witnessed. At the same time, it doesn’t understand jokes or negatives.

Our subconscious mind is connected to the Infinite Intelligence.

We can use our conscious mind to impress the subconscious mind with our repeated actions (as already mentioned- when you identify daily aligned actions to take, you will change your life), affirmations (or other manifesting methods) with your goal or desire; the subconscious mind will eventually express it and materialize it in your physical world as a matter of time.

Your subconscious mind is connected to your intuition. Your gut.

And so, when you program it for what you want, you will be receiving intuitive guidance as to your next steps. Our thoughts create our reality.

And knowing how to work with your subconscious mind is so important!

Subconscious Mind Function

The main function of your subconscious mind is to store and retrieve information.

It’s like a computer program. Its job is to ensure that you respond precisely the way you are programmed, even if consciously it doesn’t make any sense to you.

Your subconscious mind makes everything you say and do fit a pattern consistent with your self-concept program.

Why? Because it wants to save energy. It runs on autopilot. Once again, the term “The Intelligent idiot” comes to my mind. The perfect way to describe subconscious programs running our lives!

How Does Subconscious Mind Affect Behavior?

Your subconscious mind makes you feel emotionally, mentally, and physically uncomfortable whenever you attempt to do anything new or different.

It tries to “protect” you.

So, it goes against changing any of your established patterns of behavior.

This is why you can feel your subconscious pulling you back toward your comfort zone each time you try something new. It feels so uncomfortable at first, and you feel tempted to quit.

When Does the Subconscious Mind Develop?

The subconscious mind is responsible for providing for our well-being and quality of life.

It takes up any information it is exposed to. It is incredibly open to suggestions in our first 6–7 years of life and can be used to accelerate many learning processes.

For example, a child can be brought up bilingual or even multilingual from an early age. It reminds me of a friend of mine who was a native speaker of 3 languages: English, Spanish, and German.

He was originally from Colombia and adopted by a German family when he was 4. He grew up in Spain and attended an English school.

So, he spoke German at home with his adoptive parents, English with his teachers and fellow students, and Spanish with most of his friends.

That’s the power of using the subconscious mind for absorbing new languages and mastering them at a native-speaker level from an early age.

But our subconscious mind stores everything…the good and the bad….

Every trauma is stored in the subconscious and is held by our “inner child,” for example, the person we were at the time of the experience. It’s like an avalanche of our experiences that make up who we are today.

This again reminds me of one of the biggest lessons I learned from Robert G.Smith and his Faster EFT courses. One of the main pillars of his healing system is that to truly change our lives, we need to change our memories.

Change your memories- change your life.

How to Deal with Subconscious Mind

Everybody has experienced some sort of trauma. Some are more severe than others.

But trauma is always trauma.

Even minor trauma can be holding us back from unleashing our true potential in life.

Especially if we start creating more and more negative stories around it.

To heal on a deeper level and change what’s inside us (to start manifesting new, better circumstances in our lives and be truly happy), we must access our subconscious minds and acknowledge our inner child.

We can heal by repetition, for example, by changing the information we are confronted with on the outside and our thoughts.

More effectively, we can heal in hypnosis. We can do this with a physical or digital guide.

Here are my hypnosis recommendations:

hypnosis to change your subconscious mind, specifically for money, abundance, and career

general hypnosis and relaxation to improve all areas of your life

I listen to guided hypnosis meditations every day, and I’m also a huge fan of tapping, both the traditional EFT tapping methods and the Faster EFT by Robert G.Smith.

You can learn more about these methodologies here.

If we integrate these transformational techniques into our lives, we can heal our subconscious minds and transform our lives.

Our brains remain highly plastic throughout our lives.

That means our minds are changeable. It is up to us what we do with it.

I’m also a huge fan of affirmations, especially creating your own affirmations to change your subconscious mind and get in complete alignment with your desires!

Subconscious Mind vs. Conscious Mind

Simply put, the conscious mind is responsible for rationalizing and logical thinking, whereas the subconscious mind is responsible for involuntary actions.

You can use your conscious mind to decide to start working on yourself and change your subconscious beliefs.

But, at the same time, you could also use it to rationalize and say that you don’t need to do any inner work and that it’s all a BS.

Precisely what I used to say to myself for so many years! Yet I kept repeating the old cycles and burning myself out.

Then, I would always blame other people’s circumstances on my upbringing.

But one day, I just got tired. I was losing my business and my health. I knew I had to make some serious changes in my life.

When I decided to work on my subconscious mind, all areas of my life began to change.

Now, doing the inner work is not always nice or pleasant. I guess many of us reach the stage where we are fed up because nothing worked for us (because we didn’t work on subconscious patterns and beliefs), and so we feel like transmuting our disappointment into more creative and transformative energy.

I won’t deny that I felt like quitting this inner work stuff many times. Especially in the beginning!

But I’m glad I used my conscious mind to schedule daily activities to re-program my subconscious mind. Now, doing the inner work is pretty automatic for me.

I journal, tap, listen to guided hypnosis (makes me sleep like a baby, no more insomnia… what’s not to like?).

Subconscious Mind Benefits

  • Authentic, loving relationships
  • Enhanced self-love
  • Incredible creativity levels
  • Feeling more relaxed and proactive
  • Improved health and wellbeing
  • The strength to catch and quickly transcend limiting beliefs
  • Improved sense of happiness, peace, and empowerment

The subconscious mind’s role is to store and retrieve information to help you respond exactly as you’re programmed to respond based on your memories and experiences.

It makes everything you say or do align with your current self-image, and it’s your self-image that determines your manifesting power.

For example, let’s say your conscious goal is to become a full-time YouTuber.

Or maybe you recognize the importance of doing more videos for your business. Or perhaps you desire to express yourself online through videos.

Yet, whenever you try to shoot a video, you feel stuck. Something is blocking you. Perhaps, you make a video and feel the “fight or flight” response as you upload it online.

So, on the one hand, you desire to do videos to be fully expressed online.

But your self-image tells you that it’s not safe.

Your subconscious mind wants to protect you because maybe you had an unpleasant experience doing a school performance in the past. Or maybe one of your teachers or caretakers was rude to you or told you that you shouldn’t stand out or put yourself out there.

Your brain took it as a threat to your wellbeing and stored it to use it against your ambitious YouTube career goals…

What’s really important here is your awareness. Everything starts with awareness.

Recognize the fact that something is blocking you. Then, you can create a simple plan to change your mind.

Please note- some people may need the professional help of a psychologist, subconscious mind coach, or therapist, especially when it comes to healing big traumas. Always do your research to choose the best course of action for your case.

Here’s what I recommend, based on my personal experience. I am a big fan of mindful repetition and combining the practical with the metaphysical.

Back to our YouTube example:

If a person truly desires to be a YouTuber and knows it’s their real personal goal, but something blocks them, I’d definitely recommend small daily steps (I did the same to release writer’s block).

For example, they could start by doing short videos.

Or uploading them as private videos while giving themselves some time and space to improve their craft before going public.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this article, we learn, grow, and release our fears by performing the same, aligned actions every day. I mean…if you do something repeatedly and nothing bad happens, your brain eventually stores new information such as: “It’s safe, I can do it, I do it every day, and all is good in my world”.

The practical steps (recording daily videos and getting used to being on camera) alone can shift your subconscious mind. You could also hire a professional video or speaking coach to give you feedback.

At the same time, I’d recommend deep inner work by choosing one or more of the methods below (many of the methods suggested can be combined, but if you feel like it’s too much for you to commit to now, simply pick one):

visualizing

positive affirmations

-reading uncensored success stories of people who inspire you so that you understand what they had to go through and the mindsets they employed to reach success

-professional therapy & counseling

journaling and scripting

-energy healing work, such as Reiki or Ho’oponopono

EFT tapping or Faster EFT

guided hypnosis for success/ eliminating limiting beliefs

The bottom line is…

Commit to your subconscious re-programming plan.

And stick to it daily. You are constantly evolving and continually transforming. Every day is a little transformation.

You manifest with your mind, mostly with your subconscious mind.

So, by changing your subconscious mind and aligning it with what you want, you have the power to upgrade your life and turn it into a truly magical experience!

Also, remember that your environment matters.

Surround yourself with positive people you can trust. Keep your inner work private unless you share it with someone who can guide you or is on the same journey.

Inspirational activities like reading uplifting books or articles significantly impact people committed to positive thinking, acting, and living.

Focusing your thoughts on uplifting ideas or success-oriented sound bites can help your subconscious mind to employ positive patterns in your outlook on life and way of thinking, therefore manifesting a brand-new reality before your very eyes.

Change yourself, your mindset, and your energy to change your life!

Embrace the power of your subconscious mind and automatic coordination.
