18 Life-Changing Quotes by Tony Robbins

#1 “Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

This is one of my favorite quotes by Tony Robbins, and I think the Law of Attraction community can benefit a lot from it. Why? Most LOA people are focused on their final destination- manifesting their biggest goals and desires.

But it’s all about enjoying the process. The process makes us better and stronger. It makes us better manifestors.

For example, a person could manifest a huge lottery winā€¦and then lose it all (like most lottery winners do, according to statistics). Since they never have gone through the process of building, growing, and maintaining wealth, they have no clue how to handle money.

So, they lack a good money strategy. Not only thatā€¦but they also lack in money mindset, and their energy is not alignedā€¦

However, a self-made person is a different story. They have been through the ups and downs of creating success and building wealth.

And so, they had to develop their mindset and understand their emotions. Their inner world expanded in the process of their growth.

This is why, eventually, they can create success that lasts!

My main point is this ā€“ what if there’s no final destination? What if the process itself is our destination? Yes, we still have goals and desires. Sometimes that sets our soul on fire.

But, at the same time, we don’t stress out about it. We show up for it with our best mindset and energy. We do our part. We love the process and delegate the rest to the Universe.

For me, personally, this mindset shift has been a huge game-changer and helped me manifest not only more lasting success in my life but also peace of mind, happiness, health, and improved relationships.

#2 “It’s not knowing what to do; it’s doing what you know.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

I think this is one of the biggest manifestation blocks in the self-development community, and I often catch myself guilty of it, too, haha!

We love reading, learning, and growing, right?

So, we end up accumulating more and more informationā€¦

And we know a lot of stuffā€¦

Butā€¦can we translate all that knowledge into doing?

Ask yourself: “How can I apply everything I have learned so far on my journey to manifest my best life? How can I use all my knowledge to help myself and others?”

#3 “Most people fail in life because they major in minor things.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Do you major in minor things?

Do you spend most of your time on things that don’t even matter?

What if you could powerfully channel your creative energy into things that are important to you and change your life?

#4 “I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach, who walk their talk.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

You can make a choice right here and right now. You can choose to embody your desires.

The first step is to design your ideal life by journaling and scripting about it.

I walk you through this process step-by-step in my bestselling book: Script to Manifest: It’s Time to Design & Attract Your Best Life (even if you think it’s impossible now).

Most people fail before they start because they are not really clear on what they want. So, they just mindlessly recite some goals that society has prepared for themā€¦

Clarity is the first stepā€¦

Then, there’s embodiment. When you know what you desire, you can choose to embody it to become a vibrational match to it and manifest it fast!

#5 “Leaders spend 5 percent of their time on the problem & 95 percent of their time on the solution. Get over it & crush it!” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Whenever I happen to have a problem, I ask myself this question: “Will this even bother me 5 years from now?”.

So far, the answer to this question has always been: “No,” haha šŸ˜Š

Asking myself the above question immediately gives me immense inner peace. Then, I channel all my energy into finding the best possible solution. I also create a positive affirmation around it.

#6 “It’s what you practice in private that you will be rewarded for in public.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

All the work you do behind the scenes, whether it’s studying self-development, working on your business, or developing yourself spiritually, will pay off.

All the actions you take compound and always lead to something magnificent. You don’t fail, you succeed, or you learn. So, never give up.

Perhaps you really admire someone like Tony Robbins, and you think: “Oh if only I was like him if only I had his talent and charisma”.

The truth is that Tony Robbins put in a tremendous amount of work to become Tony Robbins. And he still puts in a lot of work behind the scenes!

#7 “Identify your problems but give your power and energy to solutions.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

So many people get this wrong. They either desperately “try to focus on the positive” while ignoring the healing work and issues that should be solved/addressedā€¦

Or they dwell on what went wrong in the past for too long.

Personally, I have been guilty of both.

Finally, I found what seemed to be a good balance for me.

Like Tony says, I identify my problems but then give all my power, focus, and energy to solutions!

#8 “Your past does not equal your future.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

This is probably one of the best lessons from Tony Robbins, and he truly embodies it himself.

He comes from a low-income family, and his mother was very abusive.

Coming from a dysfunctional family myself, this quote and Tony’s work had given me lots of hope.

I understood that no matter what happened to me in the past, no matter where I was born, and what I was taught by my family, school, society etc. I am a strong enough person to re-create and re-educate myself.

I discovered the world of self-development, and it changed my life.

“Your past does not equal your future” will always be one of my favorite inspirational quotes and success lessons by Tony. I would like to add to it:

“Even though I had my share of obstacles in the past, I am happy, healthy, loved, and successful”.

Now to tie in a manifestation lessonā€¦your point of attraction is NOW, in this very moment. If you ever find yourself stuck with negative thoughts due to trauma you experienced in the past, simply say to yourself: My point of power, my point of attraction, is NOW, in this very moment.

Then add: “Even though (and explain your negative thoughts and feelings) I can still live my best life andā€¦(add your goals, desires, and ambitions).

#9 “If you can’t, you must. If you must, you can.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Sometimes, we need a little discipline and a nice dose of masculine energy! So many of us, self-development, LOA, and spiritual people (commonly dubbed as self-helpers), get too stuck in our all minds.

And yes, mindset work is critical. This is what I dedicate my work to.

Butā€¦sometimes, we need to gently kick our asses and take action.

Personally, I used to struggle with discipline and working on schedule. I shared my story many times in my books.

What worked for me was joining an accountability mastermind.

All people in my mastermind are business owners, self-employed professionals, or creatives. And we are all accountable to one another. We create structures and systems around our work to ensure we get everything done on time.

Soā€¦even if I can’tā€¦I MUST. Because when I MUST, I can.

Now I know that this sometimes goes against the common spiritual beliefs of aligned actions and whatnot. Well, yes, my work is aligned. And all the ideas I get for my work come from this alignment. But to make them work and get my work out there to as many people as I can, I need systems and structure.

Soā€¦practical accountability works for me. Trust me; it feels aligned AF! Without it, I’d be still sitting around in my pajamas, pondering on today’s stars alignment and if it’s a good day to take action or notā€¦šŸ˜‰

#10 “We can change our lives. We can do, have, and be exactly what we wish.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

As I always say, you can because you can. It’s all about getting back to our true power.

Remember who you are. You are a powerful creator.

Your desires were given to you for a reason.

You are meant to make them come true and enjoy the process of becoming your best self!

#11 “Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

One of the biggest manifestation blocks that I see people experience (I’ve experienced them too) is ā€“ that they don’t really know what they want.

If you lack clarity, you lack vision. When you lack vision, you lack purpose, and you can’t think and act intentionally. You can’t embody your desires and show up as your best selfā€¦because you don’t really know what you wantā€¦

And so, you keep moving in circles, and your actions are determined by what you think you should doā€¦to (quite likely) impress people that don’t really care that much about youā€¦

Wellā€¦ it’s time to impress yourself. Set a goal that excites you. Visualize it. Feel it.

Script it. Script your ideal life.

Then, start taking aligned action towards it. Because you can. Because it’s your goal. It’s sacred and meant to be manifested into your dream reality. So, go for it!

#12 “The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Surround yourself with like-minded people who love you and support you. Love and support them too.

Focus on the abundance of love, joy, and compassion around you.

Achieving your goals is easier if you have at least one person who believes in you and supports you.

#13 “If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do, and you’ll achieve the same results.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

While I don’t like the word “copy” here, and I think using the word “re-model” would be a much better fitā€¦this quote is really, really powerful.

Coming from a small town and a dysfunctional family, I never had good role models growing up. Everyone around me was focused on complaining, survival, and drinking.

I didn’t even know what self-development wasā€¦I had no idea about mentors and teachers. Goal setting? I had no idea that we could even set goals. I thought things just happened to us, and if you were not born rich, you’d always be screwedā€¦

As you can imagine, discovering the world of self-development and spirituality was a huge aha moment in my life. I began reading books. I attended seminars and workshops. Eventually, I left my hometown and started living my life the way I wanted- the evolved way.

Having role models and mentors was so helpful. Whenever I felt in doubt, I would affirm: “If they could do it, and they started from nothing, it means I can do it too. I just need to align my mind, heart, and soul and keep taking positive action”.

#14 “Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

In my opinion, successful people are good self-therapists and self-coaches. They know how to ask good, empowering questions because they understand how the mind worksā€¦

You see, our mind is like a search engine. Whatever question you ask, there is always an answer. Ask good, empowering questions, and find good, empowering answers.

I learned this the hard way in business. At the beginning of my entrepreneurship journey, I would give up way too soon. If something didn’t work, I kept affirming: “Oh, it’s because the market is saturated”, or asking disempowering questions such as: “What if I lose my business? What if nobody wants to buy my services?”.

At some point, I hired a marketing expert. And he made me realize that my main problem wasn’t that much marketing but my mindset. Instead of asking good, empowering questions such as: “Who would be my ideal client?,” etc. Therefore, I kept focusing on the negative, attracting more negative scenarios into my life.

By asking good questions, I was able to empower myself and become a true leader of my business and life.

#15 “Where focus goes, energy flows.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Your energy is so precious. So, channel it into what you really desire, into what you really want. My personal motto is- when you truly focus on something, you will manifest it. End of story. Nothing and nobody can stop you.

Even if sometimes it may take a bit longer, in the end, it will always be worth it because the process of achieving your goals will make you a better person.

#16 “I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Manifesting, spirituality, and self-development is a never-ending journey.

Same with professional development and entrepreneurship.

I often talk to young entrepreneurs who somehow, somewhere, got an idea that they will make a ton of money once and then retire very young and will never have to work again.

To be quite honest, I, too, had this idea. Now, the idea in itself is not bad. I’m all for creating financial freedom in our livesā€¦

But creating is always a process. Not an event. By staying committed to the process of manifesting your heart’s desires, you grow as a person. You learn new things. You improve your mindset. For me, personal growth is the best “retirement”. I love learning and growing.

And I don’t think that looking for quick fixes, get rich quick schemes, or some magical events can help people on a deeper level (I’ve been guilty of all of that, by the way, I used to be addicted to get rich quick schemes and quick fixes).

But when I got clear on what I wanted and what my passions wereā€¦I created a dream life around them. And since I love what I do and keep growing on all the levels, I often feel like on a fantastic holiday, even when I am at home, working on my projects.

#17 “Every problem is a gift–without problems, we would not grow.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

Use problems to look deeper inside yourself. Embrace them and grow from them.

Don’t use them to beat yourself up, complain or be resentful toward other people.

Adapt a state of total neutrality and become fully aware of what you can change about your mindset, energy, and how you show up to change your reality.

#18 “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” ā€“ Tony Robbins

New habits lead to a new life. And, very often, it’s not about going overboard. Sometimes it’s about making some minor tweaks in our lifestyles!

For me, it was very simple. I had to learn to work on schedule and create a life-work balance. Work time, self-care/self-development time, and playtime.

When working, I had to learn to ask myself better questions and grow my self-awareness as a business owner. I had to let go of all childhood trauma and limiting beliefs from friends and family and create the New Me.

The new me (new mindset and energy) led to new actions.

New actions led to new results.

Now, I know I can quickly write and publish several new books a year without getting burned out.

Ohā€¦and one more thing I had to changeā€¦even though it may seem obvious to some peopleā€¦I had to develop a regular sleep routine.

You can’t even imagine how this simple lifestyle change improved my well-being and productivity.
