The reason why I decided to write about manifestation affirmations (and there are so many of them online), is to approach things from a slightly different perspective. I want you to be successful with manifestation affirmations to help you get closer to the life of your dreams and be your own cheerleader. And so, you need to understand how they really work so that you can dive deep and create your own unique affirmations that work for you.
Effective manifestation affirmations are not just about reciting some random statements hoping for the best (although this can be a great step moving forward, especially for someone who’s been surrounded by a lot of negativity).
For example, you may pick some random manifestation affirmations simply based on the fact that they’re created as positive statements, thinking that now you’re done.
And yes, in some cases, it may work. For example, you may be researching positive affirmations via books, blogs, or videos, coming across something you like, and just sticking with it and creating success.
While it’s always a significant step to move forward and help you feel better while entering a more positive vibration, the real secret to effortless manifestation lies in…creating your own affirmations that feel good to you and are designed to help you impress your subconscious mind with new, empowering beliefs, while releasing what no longer serves you.
I always say: manifestation affirmations are an empowerment tool, not some magic spells (although if you’re spiritually inclined in that direction and have a strong belief in magic(k) spells, such belief could serve you very well).
But for me, true magic happens when we truly shift our inner world, and positive affirmations are an amazing tool to do so. You are already a truly magical being! Besides, you can talk to yourself and affirm, both out loud and in your mind, whenever you want. Driving, cleaning, having a shower, having a walk – you can start affirming whenever you want. This is how you take your power back!
Trust me, the little effort you put into creating your own personalized manifestation affirmations is always worth it, and when you get the hang of it, you will wonder how you could ever live without it.

7 Secrets to Create Your Manifestation Affirmations
Secret #1 When creating your manifestation affirmations, you need to use words that resonate with you, your desires, and your energy.
Words have energy just like you do.
And different words match different energies of other people.
For example, let’s talk about manifestation affirmations to attract financial success.
Some people really resonate with the energy of the word “abundance.”
For example, I love the affirmation: “I attract unlimited and peaceful abundance in all areas of my life.”
When I say this affirmation, I immediately visualize unique and exciting images of feeling happy, healthy, surrounded by people I love, feeling fulfilled, and feeling financially free and stable, while enjoying everything life has to offer.
For me, it’s not about multiple millions of dollars or expensive cars because those things don’t resonate with me and my energy.
When I say “abundance”, I can see myself at the beach with my loved ones, eating nice and healthy food, and celebrating success. My success feels good, because to me, success is about growing while helping others do the same. At the same time, I feel well taken care of by the Universe. I know I am always guided and protected. Because I have an abundance of spiritual experiences, too!
Some people, however, say “abundance” and don’t really feel anything.
Some people may prefer other words such as “money,” or “cash,” or “dollars.”
As for the last one, again, if your local currency is euro or UK pound, or something else, you may not resonate with the word “dollar”.
As with everything related to inner work and manifestation affirmations, the journey can be your destination, so give yourself some time to explore which words you feel really resonate with your energy.
Embrace your uniqueness and choose what you like!
Secret #2 Believe in what you say (or almost believe…)
You want to create a deep connection with your manifestation affirmations.
For example, if you keep saying, “I am a millionaire,” but in your mind, it seems like a far-away goal, because you struggle to pay your bills on time, you do not believe in what you say, and so you’re losing trust in yourself and separating yourself from your desire.
You don’t want to use manifestation affirmations to fight your beliefs. Instead, you want to use them as a bridge to gently transform them. These changes usually happen gradually.
Let’s compare this to gentle yoga stretches. Yes, you want to expand and leave your comfort zone, but without hurting yourself in the process. You want your journey to be steady and enjoyable.
We can do the same with affirmations!
So, to believe in what you say, you may want to break your goal down and create an affirmation that you know you will believe in.
(such as: “I’m financially stable. All my bills get paid on time, and I even have some extra money! I love it”).
At the same time, you may want to immerse yourself in studying the minds of millionaires, how they think, and how they perceive their reality. This is how you can program your subconscious mind with mindsets and beliefs that will come in handy later down the road.
By taking such an action, your subconscious mind will slowly start to believe that becoming a millionaire is possible.
Your mind is like a search engine.
Focus on the positive, and it will guide you and help you find more positive evidence as to why you can achieve your dreams. But, you need to get started somewhere.
My empowering belief that I always intend to transmit to others, is that no matter who you are and where you’re currently at, you can use the Law of Attraction to improve your situation. And then, repeat again!
Secret #3 Use your manifestation affirmations in the present or past tense
Avoid affirmations such as: “I want to lose weight,” because in this case, “to want” means you’re in the energy of not having.
To attract what you desire, you must be a vibrational match to it, so your thoughts, affirmations, and the way you speak to yourself and others must be of the person who already lives in your dream reality.
A great example of a positive affirmation is:
“I’m so happy and grateful for my healthy, slim, and energized body”
(of course, as stated earlier, be sure to use words that resonate with you, perhaps, you wish to include a specific weight or outcome you desire to manifest?).
You can also affirm: “I’m so happy and grateful I finally released all the extra weight because it feels so good!”.
How about this one: “My body and I are a great team! We love being healthy, eating well, feeling good, and looking good!”.
Combine your affirmations with what I like to call: “everyday manifesting”.
That is- keep looking for the change you desire to manifest. As you look in the mirror, shop for clothes, go for a walk, or whatever you do, start asking yourself questions such as:
“Why is it always so easy for me to lose weight?”
“How is this even happening? I must have an amazing metabolism!”
These are empowering askfirmations!
And this is how you start raising your vibrations and direct your life-force energy and mindset with what you desire. So, manifestation affirmations are a great start!
Secret #4 Don’t spread yourself too thin with your affirmations.
Want to manifest faster? Go deeper, not wider.
My personal recommendation is to focus on one or a maximum of four manifestation affirmations at a time.
It may also help if the two desires are interconnected.
For example, having unstoppable energy and vibrant health can help you show up better in your job or business.
So, in this case, it makes sense to focus on manifesting two things at once.
At the same time, by manifesting more success in your job and business, you may raise your income, which will allow you to buy quality foods or supplements to take care of your health.
However, super-long lists of desires may produce scattered energy, so there’s no focus.
Don’t get me wrong; you can have a long list of long-term goals or things you desire to manifest.
If you do, I’d recommend you create a vision board to remind yourself of how good your reality is yet to come.
But when it comes to manifesting through your affirmations, my personal recommendation is to focus on one or two things at a time 🙂
As they manifest, rinse and repeat. It’s really lots of fun!
It’s like going to a restaurant and placing an order… you wouldn’t order too many things at once, would you?
After all, you know you can always come back.
It’s as simple as that!
I’ll add that you can create different stories and affirmational-variations around your affirmations.
Example:
Affirmation: I am an amazing business owner with a thriving business, and I am full of energy and vitality.
I actually used this affirmation several years ago to eliminate my old limiting belief that being a business owner, or self-employed professional meant ending up burned out, with no health, and vitality and overworking oneself with no to little results. That was my old belief that manifested into my old reality.
So, I got to the root of the problem and began changing myself from within myself.
I used my affirmation and created different stories around it. Example:
“I always find time to take care of myself. I love my business, and it’s so energizing for me. My clients and their success is my fuel. I attract amazing clients who are committed. My business always grows. Growth is a natural law of the Universe. I love celebrating business success with like-minded people who are also amazing professionals or business owners and share my views.”
Etc etc.
And I would visualize my stories here and there 🙂
Slowly, things began to shift. And now, I see productivity as something fun. Work is fun. Taking care of myself is fun. I love people I attract to my business and life. It’s all such an amazing energy!
Different mindset, energy + expectations= different results 🙂
Secret #5 Be aware of feelings of despair and losing patience…
I know I know, easier said than done.
But here’s the thing, sometimes, the Universe wants to test you, or occasionally, the timing is not right for you.
By losing your patience, you also lose trust in yourself and your abilities.
From time to time, it may be a good decision to change your path, and sometimes we don’t manifest what we think we desire, because there’s something better waiting for us.
The way the world goes, it’s a perfect system.
Do you get impatient waiting for the sun to come out? Of course not.
You know that there are different cycles in life. Day and night. Summer and winter.
So, let go and enjoy your journey! You are always manifesting…For example, right now, as you’re reading this, you’re manifesting a higher vibration and self-growth.
You can also manifest: patience, motivation, resilience, mental health.
With the right focus and application of the Law of Attraction, anything is possible.
The more you practise, the better you get.
Don’t be one of those skeptics who quit after 3 days, because: “nothing happened”.
The thing is – even if it looks like nothing is happening on the outside, everything is happening inside you. This is where it all starts! Transcend your current circumstances, by choosing to see and do things differently today!

Secret #6 If needed, invite a Higher Power…
Some people will not believe in “I’m so powerful.” instead, they prefer to say, “God is so powerful.”
So, instead of saying: “I’m so powerful I always attract unlimited abundance,” they may prefer to say, “God is so powerful he always helps me manifest unlimited abundance.”
Choose whatever works for you.
You can manifest with angels, God, the Universe, your Higher Self, your ancestors, your guides, your subconscious mind, or whatever Higher Power you choose to believe in.
See yourself as a powerful co-creator of your reality that always receives the guidance they need.

Secret #7 Get in a good vibe with music, dance, and exercise.
Create a playlist with your favorite feel-good music, so that you can get in a good and joyful mood before doing your affirmations.
You may also want to move your body and exercise while doing your affirmations.
In this case, I’d choose music and songs with no vocals so that you can entirely focus on your affirmations and use the power of music to uplift and energize you.
More Manifestation Affirmations Guidance + Little Mistakes That May Be Slowing You Down
Please note: when I say “mistake”, I base it on my current belief system. It may be helpful to some of you, and limiting to others. So, dive deep and ask yourself what feels good to you. In the end, there’s no right or wrong when it comes to “doing”; it’s all about your energy behind the actions you take.
So, if you approach your manifestation affirmations from good, positive energy, things will be unfolding faster than you could ever imagine!
Tip#1 Keep Your Manifestation Affirmations Simple and Empowering
Keep your affirmations short and precise unless you feel good having long-winded affirmations that feel like reciting a poem.
Most people really benefit from shorter and more concise affirmations that are full of powerful and emotional words. But, as always, to each their own!
Tip #2 Release Fear-Based Mindsets
Never use the negatives, for example: “I don’t want to lose my job” because your subconscious mind can’t understand “the don’t,” so all it hears is “I want to lose my job.”
Unless, of course, for whatever reason, you want to manifest losing your current job, be sure to create your affirmations positively. Your focus needs to be on your desired reality, not on your fears or circumstances.
If you feel anxious or experience too many negative emotions, use EFT tapping first to calm yourself down and relax your nervous system.
EFT tapping will also help you release trapped energy from your meridians.
Read this book by Nick Ortner – it was a real game changer for me (I was raised by extremely anxious and negative parents and come from emotional dysfunction, so I understand how similar circumstances may be blocking some people from unlocking positive manifesting methods fully; if that’s the case- know that you can change yourself from within yourself – start tapping on yourself today!).
Mistake #3 Staying in the Vibration of “Wanting” and “Needing”
Don’t use the words “want” or “will” in your affirmations.
For example, don’t say: “I will get a new job”, or “I want to get a new job”
A much better affirmation would be:
“I have an amazing, stable, well-paying job, and I love what I do.”
Or: “I’m so happy and grateful that I manifested a new, well-paid job, I love it”.
Keep telling yourself that you already have your desires, and, more importantly, that you ARE a person who is empowered, focused, and a go-getter!
Final Thoughts + Extra Tips to Help You Create Your Own Powerful Manifestation Affirmations
Tip#1 How to spice your manifestation affirmations up with emotion.
For example, add: “I’m so grateful that,” or “I’m so happy and grateful that,” or “I love it.”
For example: “I’m now making 10k a month working in my dream job with awesome people, and I love it!”
Ask yourself some empowering, positive-vision stimulating questions around your affirmations. This will keep your subconscious mind working for you even more!
Tip #2 Why you shouldn’t use other people’s goals or success stories as your manifestation affirmations…
Always double-check and screen your energy when thinking about your affirmation and the goal behind it.
Do you want a bigger house to impress others or because you think it is expected of you?
Well, then, maybe it’s not really your goal? Perhaps you’re happy living in a small apartment and manifesting something else?
At the same time, if thinking about living in a bigger house really sets your soul on fire, go for it!
It’s all about knowing who you are and what you want.
Sometimes, you may come up with a goal and do some affirmations around it. Only to realize the goal wasn’t even yours and you’re not passionate about it.
Well, that’s fine too. You are one step closer to finding out what you really desire. And you also have a manifestation affirmation system in place. So – now you’re ready to welcome your desire!
Tip#3 Put your manifestation affirmations all around you: your office, car, mirror, wardrobe, fridge, etc.
Don’t hide them! Make sure you see them often and that they see you as well. They will help you stay resilient while taking care of your good mood and vibration.
Also, repeat them in front of the mirror, at least 3-4 times a day.
Tip #4 If negative chatter kicks in while you’re doing your affirmations, don’t panic.
Simply say “cancel, cancel” and carry on.
You can also use manifestation meditation or cord-cutting rituals to release what no longer serves you 🙂
Channeled Messages to Unlock the Magic of Manifestation Affirmations
You are seeing this for a reason because a part of you has been doubting you and keeping yourself small.
