The message I’m very passionate about sharing across all my books and articles is that it all comes down to understanding yourself, your feelings, and what message they send to the Universe. From a Mindless (and Jaded) Opportunity Seeker to a Joyful (and Successful) Creator – How Emotional Scale Helped Me!

This topic is very close to my heart because it is what finally made it all click for me.

I was one of those people who read a ton of self-help, spirituality, LOA, and entrepreneurship books. And like many others, I got on this journey to manifest money and abundance. Back then, I was looking for some magical secret to save me. And I definitely wasn’t ready to change myself and dive deep…

So…I could never manifest any long-term success.

And sometimes things would get worse when manifesting

I couldn’t understand why…After all, I stayed positive. Or I thought I was!

And I took action on all the Law of Attraction techniques I was learning about.

I remember buying a very expensive program aimed at subconscious mind re-programming for attracting money. So many people had succeeded with this simple method of writing and saying affirmations.

But not me…It only made me feel worse and jaded about being financially stuck…I could write entire books on what didn’t work for me back then lol! Luckily, now I have a much more empowering story to share with you…And I’m so happy I didn’t end up being a LOA hater (I was very close, though…)

To cut a long story short- my vibrational frequency was a rather dark cloud of negative emotions.

The signals I kept sending out to the Universe were: “It never works for me. Others can succeed but I can’t. Something is wrong with me. I always buy into things that don’t work. I don’t feel worthy. Nobody appreciates me. I feel ashamed. All that money and time invested for nothing…”. And so, I kept manifesting more negativity.

But a part of me still hoped for a way out.

And thanks to my beautiful angels, the Divine, and their intuitive messages, I finally found a way out and can now write about more positive experiences and something that can help you as well!

Because when you’re high on the vibrational scale you feel like motivating, uplifting and inspiring others! Your cup is full, and you want to help others.

So, back to my story…

Eventually, after years of failing, something in me awakened. I decided to stop chasing external validation and just do something for myself. Something I enjoyed. I knew I had to change something in me.

I wanted to go inwards and was willing to be guided.

One night I was led to google: “spiritual awakening signs” and came across a blog on that topic.

I really resonated with its writer and wanted more from her. I came across her Amazon profile and saw she had a book on…EFT Tapping-Emotional Freedom Technique.

The old me would resist: Who has time for that? I prefer to learn some marketing tactics or affirmation methods to manifest faster…

Yet, something in me told me to buy this little kindle eBook on EFT tapping.

Then, following Amazon’s recommendations of “other customers also bought…”

I got Nick Ortner’s book The Tapping Solution.

That book taught me it was safe to go deeper into my emotions and it gave me a simple tool (tapping on the meridians) to release negativity and trapped energy. I could finally change my thoughts to more positive ones…without even trying! Oh, and I felt so energized. After years of feeling drained (even though I was on a clean and healthy diet plan).

Readers who are not new to my work know I love tapping. And I hope they can forgive me for plugging it in whenever I can 😉

EFT tapping is such a simple tool. And you don’t need any complicated knowledge about meridians or TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).

So, I highly recommend you give it a try. Get Nick’s book and start tapping. It doesn’t require a massive time commitment. You tap a bit every day and your life gets better. But… don’t take my word for it.

Discovering Abraham-Hicks Emotional-Vibrational Scale Work

After learning about and experiencing many wonderful benefits of tapping, I discovered (or better said, re-discovered) the Emotional Scale by Abraham-Hicks. You see, the old me was in so much hurry to “get stuff” and short-term wins, that she couldn’t even give herself the gift of mindful learning…something that could benefit her for years to come.

One of the old emotions that would drive my old self was impatience

I have come a long way since then. And I still keep going, and I want others to keep going to😊

After learning about and integrating the concept of the Emotional Scale, everything changed for me.

My main focus was on making this Emotional Scale thing my lifestyle. I knew I was in it for long-term transformation, not for some quick on-and-off manifesting wins.

I knew I wanted to master my mindset, energy, and emotions.

Here’s an interesting thing…as I was mastering the Emotional Scale and working on raising my vibration and embodying positive emotions while releasing the negative ones using the Emotional Freedom Technique…I began manifesting my desires…

Without really using any LOA techniques. All I was doing was working on my emotions and moving up the vibrational scale…

That was a big aha moment for me! I took a break from LOA (and shiny object syndrome) and focused on mindfulness, tapping on my emotions, and gratitude. And I began manifesting many wonderful opportunities. I finally manifested my dream of working from home…

And when I decided to go back to my favorite LOA techniques, such as scripting or affirmations, or visualizing (or any LOA method, just for fun!), all these positive manifestations amplified.

For example, whenever I did the 369-manifestation method, something amazing would happen.

I would either manifest what I wanted or was re-directed to something way better. The old me would feel jaded: “Oh, this is not working!”

The new me discovered the blessing of thinking: “It’s this or something better, and I know the work and energy I am putting in always results in manifesting something amazing. It can happen at any time. And if there’s any waiting involved it’s because it’s for my highest good”. In other words, I learned to trust and have fun!

My energy changed, and so everything I did or desired to manifest changed too…

I knew I was onto something, so I decided to focus on writing, blogging, and sharing. I’m still living this lifestyle today. And every day, I intend to dive deep and work on myself using EFT tapping and the Emotional Scale framework by Abraham-Hicks.

In this post, I share the most effective secrets to help you master your inner world and become a powerful manifestor. From my experience, I can tell you that the Emotional Scale and understanding your emotions/vibration can make a huge difference in your LOA journey…And it can do the same for you…

Making LOA Your Lifestyle (and Manifesting without Trying So Hard)

Using LOA techniques without understanding your inner world and emotions, is like…going on a fad diet. Yes, you may have some luck here and there. But not a long-term success…

On the other hand, embracing the Emotional Scale and your emotional-vibrational world is like creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle you enjoy.

This is what manifesting should feel like. It should feel effortless. As effortless as possible. That of course, doesn’t mean there won’t be challenges.

But…understanding the emotional-vibrational scale will help you get back to balance so that you can positively overcome them (instead of feeling defeated or controlled by them).

It’s not a quick win but a lifetime process you choose to go through. Every day is an opportunity for you to learn and grow.

For me personally, the main reward is that I now live a life of peace, joy, and harmony. I know more about myself and the world surrounding me, and that knowledge alone protects me from many unfavorable circumstances.

What Exactly Is the Emotional Scale by Abraham-Hicks?

A short note, in case you’re new to this, Abraham-Hicks is one of the most prominent modern Law of Attraction teachers.

In reality, Abraham-Hicks is the name of the publishing company aimed at making spiritual/ law of attraction education available across the globe. The company was created by Esther Hicks, who channels Abraham (a group of non-physical beings that share the essence of effortless manifesting and joyful living), and her husband Jerry Hicks (who, as far as I know, is a businessman and marketing specialist).

In their book: Ask and Its Given, Abraham-Hicks pointed to 22 most common positive and negative human emotions and their frequencies.

Emotions have frequencies….

So, if you send most of your time in negative emotions…guess what you will keep manifesting? You may do a technique but still stay stuck in layers of negative emotions that are very rooted in your unconscious behaviors.

But…by understanding your emotions, you can understand your vibrational frequency. In fact, the Universe guides us non-stop by sending us different feelings we can use to determine if we’re moving up or down the emotional scale.

The emotional scale is an excellent guidance system we can use as a map to get where we want to get, which my guess is- high vibe, joyful, positive, and abundant circumstances😊

The 22 emotions on the emotional scale by Abraham-Hicks Include (from highest to lowest vibration):

-Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love

-Passion

-Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness

-Positive Expectations/Belief

-Optimism

-Hopefulness

-Contentment

-Boredom

-Pessimism

-Frustration/Irritation/Impatience

-Overwhelmed (feeling overwhelmed)

Then, after the emotion of “contentment”, Abraham-Hicks point to 15 low vibrational emotions:

Good news: positive emotions are much more powerful and creative than negative ones…

When I first learned about the Emotional Scale, I was curious…Why are there only 7 positive emotions? Shouldn’t there be more of them?

But then I learned that positive emotions are much more powerful and creative than negative ones.

I also learned that we can always choose and that we are here to master our emotions and inner world. By doing so, we improve ourselves and the world around us!

Now, one thing I’ll add is that Abraham-Hicks never said that mastering our emotions would be easy. But…that mastery leads to creating an amazing life!

Also, remember that mastering the emotional scale and your vibration is best approached from a place of unlimited self-love, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and kindness😊Rome wasn’t built in a day!

As busy, 21st-century individuals, we have been conditioned to look outward rather than inward…

And so we’ve forgotten about our vibrational power and that everything we need is already within us. Our job is to tune into that power with positive emotions and feelings (while mindfully noting the negative ones without any judgment).

Emotional Scale Secrets That Will Change Your Life

Secret#1 Acknowledge how you feel without judgment.

Take a look at the visual representation of the Emotional Scale again:

Be honest with yourself and ask yourself:

Where am I?

Why?

Do I want to move up?

Can I choose to move up now?

Secret #2 You can feel several emotions at the same time. Give yourself the time to dive deep.

If you are experiencing several emotions at the same time, simply take note of them. Don’t hide from them, and don’t suppress them.

Start from the most overwhelming one, for example, anger.

Then, set the intention to release it.

Sometimes, you can release negativity fast, sometimes, you may need more time to “climb out of it”.

My favorite tools for releasing negativity are:

-EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique)- as you already know 😊

-Meditation and Prayer – you can ask the Higher Power to assist you in releasing negativity and moving up the emotional scale. You can also think about and visualize your favorite memories/ things that make you feel good.

-Positive affirmations- you can self-talk yourself into more empowering vibrational states.

-Indulge in activities that raise your vibration. Note- we don’t do this as a form of escapism or negating how we feel. We acknowledge how we feel, and so negativity has no more power over us, we then, mindfully choose to do something that makes us feel good.

Secret #3 Don’t Suppress or Resist Your Feelings

What you resist, persists– Carl Jung.

Don’t mask your negative feelings with fake positivity.

You don’t want to pretend you feel good, you really want to feel good!

It’s hard to transform negativity into true, lasting positivity if we deny our negative feelings.

One of the biggest manifesting myths I had to let go of was that you must be always positive. And so, like many other LOA students I would feel bad for feeling bad! I would try to mask my deep inner negativity with fake positivity, and it didn’t work. Suppressed feelings lead to anxiety and depression.

Many LOA people fear that if they feel negativity or think about something negative, it will instantly manifest. Release that fear right here and now!

The way it works is- the Universe is simply guiding you and telling you what needs to be released. So, stop fearing or negating these negative states. You’re human, and we all feel bad sometimes.

But…your point of power is now!

So, have the intention to keep releasing what no longer serves you.

You can manifest so many amazing things…just by releasing negative inner states…

Secret#4 Never blame yourself (or others) for feeling bad

Adding blame or guilt onto any negative states, you might be experiencing only amplifies them…why do that to yourself?

Unfortunately, I used to live like that for many, many years. And I would mask all those layers of blame, anger, sadness, and resentment with “trying to look positive”.

After all, after years of reading about spirituality, LOA and self-help in general and spending a small fortune on all the classes and seminars…I didn’t want to feel like a loser.

So, I tried to at least look like I was succeeding…

But deep inside…it was all adding up to more and more negativity…

I’m not sharing my old story to scare you…but to inspire you. And make you feel good. There might be many layers you need to unpeel. But remember that you can transform negativity into positivity. And with what you’re learning now, negativity has no more power over you!

Note: some people may benefit from therapy or counseling, especially if the layers of negativity are so deep, they don’t know where to start.

Once again though…as long as you make a commitment to transform, your energy shifts, and you move up the scale. Then, remember to keep going. Make feeling good your lifestyle!

Secret #5 Good Feelings Create Even More Good Feelings

Good feelings create even better feelings.

And…bad feelings lead to even worse feelings.

This is the concept of upward and downward spirals.

So, whenever you experience a negative feeling, ask yourself: how long am I willing to stay here?

Visualize all the beautiful moments and memories from your life…

Journal about something positive…

Take a look at your vision board

And choose to feel good. You can always choose. Feelings are contagious. And by feeling good, you set a positive example for others!

Secret #6 Moving Up the Emotional Scale Quickly Is Possible

Start your day with a morning ritual you love! A morning ritual is a fantastic way to ensure you start your day feeling good and amplifying positive feelings.

Morning gratitude journaling or any journaling/scripting method you enjoy is an excellent way to raise your vibration.

You may also schedule a few mindful breaks during the day and ask yourself: what am I grateful for today? Take a few deep breaths and amplify the positive feelings of gratitude!

Oh, and finally, when you go to sleep tonight, focus on what went well today and be grateful. Replay those beautiful moments in your mind and say: “Thank you- thank you! It’s only getting better and better!”

If you have a bad day, remember the saying: “This, too shall pass.”

Use any methods I recommended in this post to shift out of negativity.

Also, remind yourself of the good news: positive feelings are much more powerful and so balancing is easy!

Finally, see your current reality and the people you attract simply as feedback. Your current reality doesn’t have to be your chosen reality!

Be a neutral observer about how you’re being treated. Neville Goddard put it beautifully when he said: “Everyone is you pushed out.”

Yes, it may sound harsh at first, and it certainly did to me…

But, it’s so true! For example, if you believe you’re not worthy of respect, you may attract disrespectful people into your life.

So…if someone disrespects you, instead of reacting negatively and complaining about it, you can choose to go inwards and ask yourself: “How can I love and respect myself more?”.

Regardless of how difficult the manifestation may seem, the more positive emotion you infuse it with, the easier it will flow into fruition.
