In this post, we’re bridging the essence of Buddhist teachings, specifically The Eightfold Path to Enlightenment, with the Law of Attraction and manifestation. One of the biggest hurdles of manifesting is the inability to stay focused on what we want while maintaining a peaceful and joyful inner state.
Read on to discover the eight powerful principles to enlightenment and how to use them to manifest your best life.

What Is the Eightfold Path?
The Buddhist Eightfold Path, also known as the Noble Eightfold Path, was created with the intention of ending suffering. Each truth is designed to help us embrace our inner wisdom, intuition, and connection with something bigger.
The goal of practicing the Eightfold Path is to:
-control our emotions and allow our minds to work for us rather than against us;
-create more calm and peace in our lives;
-be more adaptable to life changes through embracing radical acceptance and self-love;
-react less to external reality (which is also the foundation for successful manifesting because what you focus on, expands);
-practice compassion and kindness, embody the change you wish to see in others, and never allow the low-vibe behaviors of others to influence your inner state.
It’s important to note that the teachings of the Eightfold Path are not a step-by-program or system. Instead, they can be used simultaneously, as each step supports the other, and they all co-exist together in perfect harmony.
What are the 8 Steps of the Eightfold Path?
1. Right View
This noble truth is all about taking responsibility for our thoughts, actions, and feelings. What we put out to the Universe, comes back to us. The present moment can set us free because, in this moment, we have the power to change our predominant vibrational state.
Our actions and decisions have consequences. While we all make mistakes occasionally, the lesson here is to learn and grow from them. This is how we can change our energy and karma.
The worst thing we can do, is to keep making the same mistake all over again.
As a Law of Attraction practitioner, I am a firm believer in shadow work, because it allows us to take a mindful look at negative patterns and our lives and heal them with LOVE π
2. Right Intention
Right intention is all about connecting with your why and making your actions more effective and aligned thanks to connecting with the present moment. It’s hard to manifest your goals, if you struggle with focus. Spending more time in meditation can help you establish pure, love-based intentions for the highest good of all.
What works for me is seeing everything I do, including mundane tasks, such as admin work or cleaning, as deep spiritual experiences. Now, as a human, sometimes I get off track and find myself returning to old reactive patterns such as complaining or procrastinating.
But now, I have the tools to get back on track. I take a few deep breaths, forgive myself, and move on. In alignment with the truth of right Intention, I avoid multi-tasking. I focus fully on one thing at a time and do it the best I can.
The Noble Truth of the Right intention is similar to Abraham-Hicks teachings called Intention Segmenting.
It’s all about doing one thing at a time while, as another great manifestation teacher, Neville Goddard would put it: living in the end π
Before taking action, visualize yourself having already completed your current task. Take a few deep breaths and focus on it fully. It’s all done and it’s always going so well for you!
3. Right Speech
Be mindful of your communication, including how you communicate with yourself and the Universe.
Sometimes, it’s better to stay silent than utter words that may harm you and others. It’s easy to react and be led by anger. But this truth teaches us to step back and take full responsibility for how we talk to others.
As I always say; our words can either uplift and empower or hurt/ bring others down.
Even if your intention is to give someone constructive feedback and criticism, you can always do it in a peaceful, mindful, and empowering way while, at the same time, acknowledging a person’s effort and dedication.
Let your words be vessels of love, the highest vibration in the Universe!
4. Right Action
Just like your words and thoughts, your actions can either help or hurt someone. Choose wisely.
Also, focus on actions that align with your goals and make you a better person. Choose actions that help you take care of your body, mind, and soul.
5. Right Livelihood
Right livelihood is about ethical business. To fully embody this principle, you need to research the companies you work with or decide to invest in. Be led by ethical principles of non-violence and empowerment. Right livelihood chooses ethical, honest, and transparent communication.
6. Right Effort
Right effort is about taking care of your mind so that it doesn’t get too lazy, but at the same time, it doesn’t end up overstimulated. The goal is to achieve a peaceful, focused, and neutral state.
Knowing how to control your mind and maintain its peaceful state also makes your manifestations successful.
Meditation, visualization, and scripting can help your mind stay focused.
7. Right Mindfulness
Right mindfulness is all about cultivating inner awareness. Becoming aware of our thoughts or consciously auditing them without judging them.
My personal belief is that negative thoughts are beneficial because they serve as a sign, a compass that leads to transformation. The only thing that can get us off track is creating more negative thoughts and attaching negative stories to them.
So, see negative thoughts as a sign that something inside you is ready to be healed.
The more you practice mindfulness (and the Law of Attraction), the more you realize how draining negative thoughts can be if we allow them to take control of our inner states.
So now, whenever I catch myself thinking something negative, I say: thank You Universe for bringing this to my attention. Let’s shift to something more positive and empowering. How would it feel to change my inner dialogue?
The KEY point is: don’t judge yourself for thinking negative thoughts. Use that energy to heal and transform, and be patient with yourself. Some negative thoughts become deep-rooted patterns or convictions, and it may take more mindful practice to transform them. All you need to do is to take ownership and responsibility (without blaming yourself).
8. Right Concentration
This principle is all about avoiding distractions to give our full attention to a task at hand or mindful creation of our dreams.
One thing I’m currently doing to apply this principle fully is cutting down on social media. The only exception is when I mindfully choose to check out someone’s profile or page because there’s specific information or inspiration that can help me. And it feels good to support other creatives. But I no longer enter on social media as a way to distract myself or cultivate digital escapism. No more mindless scrolling, only mindful learning.
What Does the Eightfold Path Lead to?
The Eightfold Path leads to a fulfilling life and enlightenment while reducing (or even eliminating) suffering. Take one day at a time. Promise to be your best self daily and spread joy, positivity, and love. Embody the values of the Eightfold Path, and you will manifest amazing changes in your life.
The Eightfold Path principles were created to help you manifest full alignment and a solid foundation for manifesting peace, joy, and good energy.
By manifesting alignment and becoming an embodiment of the timeless, Universal principles you will no longer waste your precious time and energy on things that don’t add value to your life. It’s always those small daily choices and focusing on what can’t be measured (such as your inner state and values) that we can manifest a life beyond our wildest dreams (including material things that can be measured!).
Trying to manipulate outside reality is futile and can be exhausting. For me, the biggest shifts in my life manifested when I began embodying the teachings I share on this blog, including the Eightfold Path discussed today.
