What to do when you really want to manifest something, but, at the same time, you lack firm belief? A reader recently told me that she created a new income goal for herself.
At first, she felt very excited about it, but then…she started to experience feelings of doubt and lack of belief…
“Can I really manifest more money?”, “Who am I to get a pay-rise? Other people are much more qualified and experienced…” etc. In other words, her belief system (her thoughts, self-talk, and the way she talked about raising her income) didn’t really align with her new desire.
And this happens to so many of us…but what if I told you, there’s a simple way you can actually believe in your desires and feel good about them? Would you want it?
The First Step – Never Feel Bad About Feeling Bad
If you ever set a goal or come up with something you desire to manifest and then experience a lack of belief, understand that it’s a good thing. Because, at least, you’re aware of it!
And with awareness, everything can be changed, re-written, and transformed.
So, if your belief system doesn’t line up with what you desire, use this simple reverse-engineer method to understand what true belief looks and feels like…
Start off by asking yourself:
-What do I believe?
-What is certain?
How Beliefs Are Created- A Simple Example
For example, I know and believe that my local grocery store opens at 9 AM every day. And I also know and believe that it closes at 9 PM.
This is why I don’t go there at, let’s say, 4 AM. It would be useless.
Now, the question is, how do I know this?
Well, because I have seen it all over again. I have been to that place many times, and I have seen their schedule. This is why I can go there with certainty, that I can always get my groceries if I go there between 9 AM and 9 PM.
Simple…
After going to this new local grocery store several times, I created a new belief system around their schedule.
And you can do precisely the same to manifest your goals with joy and ease. Without trying to force or convince yourself that you “have to believe.” Instead, you want to unleash the power of mindful repetition. You don’t need to think too much about what to do.
Instead, focus on seeing and experiencing your new reality.
Here’s an example…
Let’s say you’re just like my reader, and you desire to manifest a 6-figure a year salary or income from other sources.
But the problem you experience is that you don’t believe you can…
You begin to experience doubt. Yes, maybe you can visualize the number or see more money in your bank account.
And for some reason, it doesn’t do anything, or you start feeling even worse (“oh but who am I to…”).
Well, what you want to do is to create a memory, a vivid memory of being a 6-figure earner so that it feels normal to you.
For example, going to my local grocery store is normal to me.
I don’t need to think if I’m worthy and deserving of going shopping there. And, I have firm certainty in when I can go there, because, as I said, I have been there and I have seen the place.
Create a Memory of Your Future and Re-Play It Over and Over Again…
So…ask yourself…have you seen your future yet?
Seriously, have you really seen it?
Create an image of it in your mind. Turn it into a situation and make it feel normal to you.
I’ll add this: manifesting a higher income will be different for different people.
So, specify your why and what really fuels you…
For some people it’s about travel, for some it’s about buying a new car and working in a specific professional environment they enjoy…for some it’s buying a new house…and for some, it’s taking care of their family, kids or community…
Create a vivid image, a memory of your future
Feel it. Visualize it. Experience it. See the details of it. What you’re wearing and who you’re talking to.
It’s done. It’s all done. You just manifested your desire…
So…
What kind of life are you living now that your goals are your reality?
Set a goal that feels right to you. But, don’t quit it because of some negative thoughts such as: “I guess other people can do this, but I’m not too sure if I deserve so much money/abundance/love/freedom.”
Instead, use your negative thoughts as feedback and investigate your belief system…
Create a clear image of your future, and turn it into a memory. Make it a part of you, a part of your belief system and inner GPS…
This is how you manifest…you manifest what’s inside you…
Create Your Inner GPS
Imagine you have all those memories of health, success, money, love, and happiness.
And that you feel sure about them. They happened and keep happening. They are a part of your belief system.
In alignment with this methodology, be sure to visualize your desires every night or every morning…
So that they feel normal to you.
Whenever you feel doubtful, ask yourself what you believe in and what is certain in your life?
For example, your favorite TV show airs at a specific time, you know it because you have seen it many times, all over again.
The best way to tap into your subconscious mind is through visualization and repetition.
We manifest what we believe in.
So, visualize daily so that you can make your subconscious mind work for you, not against you.
The belief will come automatically, with repetition. But first, allow yourself to see your new reality as many times as you need, to effortlessly make your subconscious mind work for you.
Allow your subconscious mind to present you with synchronicities, guidance, and new opportunities.
Do you believe the sun is going to come up?
Yes! Feel what that feels like, and then apply it to what you’re manifesting.
So, remember. You believe in something because you’ve seen it over and over and over again.
And now, you just know it. This is how repetition works…
